Asterisk Development Test Server

A self-updating publicly accessible Asterisk development server for the purpose of testing and experimentation.

Usage

Neutron can be used by configuring a softphone or another SIP capable server with one of the test credentials below.

Host: neutron.jcn-labs.net

Port: 5060
IPv4 and IPv6 is supported using UDP and TCP transports.

Username: test

Password: test
This test account has no NAT settings enabled.

Username: test-nat

Password: test-nat
This test account has all non-ICE NAT settings enabled.

Username: test-ice

Password: test-ice
This test account has all NAT and ICE settings enabled.

All test accounts are configured with G.722 and ulaw for audio, and RFC2833 for DTMF.


No pubsub or refer functionality is available at this time.
Neutron accepts anonymous calls for a subset of extensions.

Anonymous Extensions

The following extensions can be dialed anonymously and the documented behavior will occur.

Test Extensions

The following extensions can be dialed and the documented behavior will occur.

Extension Behavior
1000 Respond with 180 Ringing and wait indefinitely.
1001 Respond with 200 OK, provide inband ringing, and wait indefinitely.
1002 Respond with 486 Busy Here.
1003 Respond with 200 OK, provide inband busy, and wait indefinitely.
1004 Respond with 503 Service Unavailable.
1005 Respond with 200 OK and echo received media.
1006 Respond with 200 OK and play back a sound file.
1007 Respond with 302 Moved Temporarily with sip:1006@neutron.jcn-labs.net as target.
1008 Respond with 183 Session Progress, play back a sound file as early media.
2000 - 2999 Respond with 200 OK and place into conference bridge of given extension.

Registered applications are reachable from SIP clients by dialing "stasis-application name" as the extension.

Outbound SIP calls can be placed using PJSIP/outbound/URI format where URI is a full SIP URI.


As Neutron is a shared resource be sure to choose a unique application name.
Any recordings are deleted nightly during the update process.
